For babies and kids: healthy vegetables

Cauliflower is rich in minerals, vitamins and cell-protective content. Since it is naturally quite salty, season as little as possible and with salt, season your unit on the plate. Speaking of which, kids like it soft.

Ingredients are for 1 toddler and 1 adult.

Rinse the cauliflower, separate and clean the roses. Cook in a little water with a pinch of salt for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, mix the corn semolina with a pinch of salt and nutmeg and the milk in a saucepan, bring to a boil, stirring for 5 min. Remove the cornmeal from the stove and leave it covered to swell. Now stir in the whipped cream. Preheat the oven to 180 °C (gas mark 2). Grease a shallow round gratin dish (diameter 20 cm) and spread the cornmeal in it. Press the cauliflower florets with the stems into it. Spread the tomato sauce evenly between the roses. Cut the mozzarella into thin slices and place on top of the roses. Place in the hot oven and bake for 20 minutes.

For big kids, you can top the casserole the same way with slices of skinned tomatoes (instead of tomato sauce).
