For the broccoli casserole, cut the broccoli into small pieces and simmer with the stems in salted water for a few minutes, drain and drain well, then press the garlic.

Put the tomatoes briefly in boiling water, clean them and cut the flesh into small cubes. Loosen and remove the seeds.

Spread the broccoli in a shallow buttered baking dish. Mix well the curd cheese, cream and yolk and season with salt, pepper and garlic. Pour over the broccoli and sprinkle the tomato cubes on top.

Preheat the oven to 220 °C and bake the casserole for 10 minutes. Sprinkle the cheese on top and put some butter flakes on top and bake again for 5 minutes. As soon as the cheese forms a brown crust, the broccoli casserole is ready.
