Assemble the ingredients according to taste:


For the calzone, preheat the oven to 200°C top-bottom heat. Roll out the pizza dough directly from the refrigerator on a floured work surface, place a plate with a diameter of approx. 18 cm on the pizza dough and cut out 2 round circles.

Brush an edge of about 1 cm with beaten egg, then put half of the filling on each half of the round pizza base and fold the second half of the dough over the filling. Press dough together well at edges. Place filled pizza bases on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 200°C for approx. 15 – 20 minutes until golden brown.
