For the stars with marzipan inlay, quickly knead flour, sugar, butter, egg, vanilla sugar, baking powder and salt into a dough. Let rest in plastic wrap for 30 minutes.

Sprinkle some flour on the work surface and roll out the dough on it to a thickness of about 3 mm. Cut out stars and place on a coated baking tray. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 °C for about 10 minutes until light yellow.

Allow to cool, spread a thin layer of marmalade on one side. Roll out marzipan between plastic wrap, cut out stars and place on the jam side of the cookies, press down slightly.

Heat chocolate glaze and glaze the marzipan side with it.
