For the spelt gingerbread, mix butter with honey and egg until creamy. Finely grind spelt, finely chop almond kernels, nuts and dried fruit.

Mix flour with baking powder, cinnamon and cocoa, mix into the butter foam, add fruit.

Spread dough on a greased, properly floured baking sheet, brush with beaten egg and decorate with walnut halves.

Bake the spelt gingerbread at 175° Celsius for about 30 minutes.
