For the spelt and cheese casserole, cook the dumplings in salted water according to instructions until al dente. Strain and rinse. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Grate the cheese. Clean the onions and cut them into rings. Remove the stalk and seeds from the chili and chop very finely.

In a bowl, mix the cooked pasta with ¾ of the grated cheese, cream and ketchup. Season with salt and pepper and stir well.

Grease a baking dish and pour in the pasta. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

Now bake the spelt and cheese casserole in the oven for about 20 minutes.
