Try this delicious cake recipe:

Grow only the best, hand-picked fruit. If possible, leave stems on fruit. (Grapes look beautiful in bunches of 3 or possibly 5. )

Rinse fruit, and carefully rub dry or let dry at room temperature laid out on paper towels. Carefully cut out the green parts of the strawberries without damaging the fruit.

In a small baking bowl, beat the egg whites with a fork until creamy (do not beat them into snow).

Fruits with stalks: brush the egg white (which must be very clean) around the fruit, sprinkle the fruit with sugar. If parts of the fruit are not covered with sugar, repeat the process. Place on wax paper and dry at room temperature.

Fruits without stalks: put egg white in a wide plate, not too deep, and turn fruits inside until they are covered with egg white all around. Then lift them out with a fork and put them on the plate with the sugar and roll them in the sugar until they are coated all around. Then place on wax paper and let dry at room temperature.

Strawberries can be dittoed onto small cocktail skewers.
