3-4 cloves of garlic a little lard lard

*Spanferkelin pratem with fil guot semladorttem* Clean the leg, dab, season with pepper, season with salt, lard with the halved garlic cloves and stand for 4-6 hours. Put it on a skewer or put it on the broiler in the oven. Hang the spit into the heated roasting rack or put the roasting rack into the preheated oven (E: 200 °C , G: level 3). Roast the leg in about 60 min. until it is well medium. Brush it continuously with the salt water solution – add as much salt to the water until it is saturated – and roast for another 5 min. If the leg should be crispier, the roasting time is extended by 10 min. If the leg should be juicier, it must be rubbed more often with lard. Serve with different kinds of mustard and “samladorttem” (see below).
