For the cherry golaches, roll out the yeast dough and cut into 8 squares. Drain the Amarena cherries, reserving the juice. Mix sugar, about 2 tablespoons cherry juice, curd cheese, egg yolks and almond custard powder well.
Brush the dough squares with the whisked egg white and place a heaped tablespoon of curd filling on the center of each square, then top with a few cherries.
Fold the corners of the squares over each other in the shape of a golatschen, brush with the remaining egg white and bake at 180 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes until light brown.
Mix the powdered sugar with the amaretto until smooth and brush the finished, still hot cherry golaches with it.
