For the quick apricot tart, lightly grease a round pizza tray and line with baking paper. Place the finished dough on the tray and press the edges smooth.

Coarsely grate the marzipan with a kitchen grater and spread it on the dough….

Carve crosses into the apricot skin and blanch with boiling water, rinse and peel off the skin. Then halve and pit the fruit and mix with lemon juice in a large bowl. After a few minutes, spread the apricots on the dough side by side with the cut side down.

Bake the apricot tart in a preheated oven at 220° C on the lowest rack for about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, heat the jam at low temperature and pass it through a sieve. Remove the tart from the oven and let it cool on a cooling rack for a few minutes.

Brush the apricots with the still warm jam. Lift the tart out of the pan and remove the baking paper.

Serve the quick apricot tart while it is still lukewarm.
