Briefly roast coriander seeds, cloves, cardamom and peppercorns. Add onions and garlic ginger paste. Brown.

Add coconut and tomatoes. Fry until lightly browned. Cool and then blend everything together with a hand blender to make a fine spice paste.

Heat the rest of the oil. Stir fry the dumplings together with garam masala, chili powder and turmeric until well browned on all sides. Add the spice paste with 500ml water.

Make everything together with potatoes in a pressure cooker for 15 min.
