For the potato soup, heat oil in a large pot, fry diced onion and dust with flour. Pour in water and crumble in the soup cube. Add the diced potatoes.

Season the potato soup with salt, pepper and marjoram and cook until soft (about 15 minutes). Cut the frankfurters into pieces and cook for another 5 minutes.
