For the pasta casserole with thyme, cook the pasta in salted water, rinse and mix with a little oil.

Mix the whipped cream with the eggs, the ham cut into strips and the cheese, season with salt and pepper. Butter a baking dish, fill it with the pasta and pour the cream-egg mixture over it.

Bake in the oven on the lowest rack at 175° for 15 minutes, finally add the thyme tips and cook for another 5 minutes.

Serve the pasta bake with thyme immediately.
