El Gaucho – Long Grain Rice Bread

Instructions:

Cook long grain rice in salted water, dice onions, slice peppers, halve olives (perhaps pitted), drain hominy.

Stir through flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, pepper, salt, milk, eggs and oil.

Fold in long grain rice, olives, hominy and the grated cheese.

Fill the dough into a well greased and floured tart springform pan (24 cm ø). Fold in the sheep cheese cut into slices. Bake the bread in a heated oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
