For the sweet semolina dumplings in peach puree, first prepare the semolina mixture. For this, stir the room-warm butter (if necessary, warm it a little – it should be nice and soft) until creamy and stir in the egg.

Now slowly add the sugar and semolina, stirring constantly. Now let the mixture rest in a cool place for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, boil plenty of water.

During this time, form the dumplings, using 2 moistened tablespoons to cut out some of the mixture and shape into beautiful dumplings. When the water boils, add the dumplings and simmer for about 8-10 minutes over medium heat.

Then turn off the heat and let the dumplings simmer for another 8 minutes. Now wash, peel and pit the peaches. Chop the flesh and heat briefly in a small saucepan.

Puree with a hand blender and season with sugar and cinnamon. Pour some of the puree onto a plate and place 3 dumplings on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar before serving.
