For the first communion cake, cream butter and eggs until fluffy. Then stir in powdered sugar, melted chocolate and cocoa powder.

Finally, sift flour with baking powder and stir in. Grease and crumble the cake tin, pour in the batter and bake at 180 degrees (needle test).

Cut the cake in half and fill with apricot jam. For the chocolate ganache, chop the chocolate into small pieces. Bring whipping cream to a boil, remove from heat and dissolve chocolate in it. Refrigerate overnight.

The next day, spread the cake with the ganache. Knead fondant until soft, roll out and place over the cake and smooth with a smoother. Then decorate the first communion cake with flowers, grass, etc.
