For the apple and cheese salad, peel and core the apples and cut into fine strips, mix with the lemon juice. Cut the cheese into equally thin strips and mix with the mayonnaise and the cream.
Coarsely chop eight walnut halves and mix them with the cream mayonnaise and apples.
Let stand for 15 minutes. Mix again, arrange in serving bowls on lettuce leaves and decorate with the remaining walnut halves.
