Instructions:

Try this delicious cake recipe:

Mix almond kernels, nuts and the fruit with 50 gr flour. Mix the fat, sugar and eggs until creamy, sifted flour and baking powder, spices and salt until smooth.

Mix in the fruit and nut mixture and add the whisky. Mix everything well. Form into a cake springform pan (diameter 26 cm) (possibly spread with parchment paper) and smooth out.

Bake at 180 °C on the lowest rack for about 100-120 minutes. Remove from the pan after 30 minutes. Wrap the cake in aluminum foil and let it rest for 3 days, then cover it with white glaze, e.g. 200 gr of powdered sugar mixed with a little whisky, and decorate it with candied fruit. Wrap the cake again in aluminum foil and keep it for at least 3 weeks (!!!).

The longer it sits, the better it tastes.
