For the dominoes, prepare a bowl over steam. Melt the butter in it. Add honey and sugar and mix. Separate the eggs and add the yolks to the mixture.

Mix flour, baking powder, gingerbread spice and salt.

Mix both masses into a dough and spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 12-15 minutes. Allow to cool slightly.

In the meantime, knead the marzipan with a little powdered sugar until soft and roll out. Since the marzipan is very sticky, this is easier if the marzipan mass is placed between two sheets of foil or baking mats.

Cut the cooled cake into two equal parts.

Warm the jam a little, stir until smooth and spread it on one of the cake pieces. Place the rolled out marzipan on top of the jam. Finally, place the second piece of cake on top.

Now the layers of domios are ready. Press everything well together and cut cubes in desired size.

Now dip the dominoes in melted chocolate or pour it over them. Let them drip off on a grid and dry.
