For the curd cheese dumplings, preheat the oven to 180 degrees convection. Beat eggs, 100 g sugar and grated lemon zest until very foamy.
Fold in the curd cheese and carefully fold in the flour mixed with baking powder. Bring the milk to the boil with the butter, the remaining sugar and a pinch of salt and pour into a preheated ovenproof dish.
Using a tablespoon, cut out dumplings from the curd mixture and place them in the mold. Cover and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.
Remove the lid and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle the curd dumplings with powdered sugar.
