For the butter cake, first prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Whip cream, eggs, flour, powdered sugar and baking powder to a smooth dough. Spread the dough on a baking sheet and bake at 180 °C top/bottom heat for about 15 minutes.

For the glaze, melt butter with granulated sugar in a saucepan. Mix in the almonds. Spread the butter and almonds over the cake and bake the butter cake for approx. 20 minutes.
