For the tipsy Pfaffenbäuchlein mix the flour with the beer. Then stir in salt, eggs and oil and whisk everything into a smooth batter. Now fry thin pancakes in a little oil until light brown.

Top each pancake with a slice of bacon and a slice of cheese as a filling for the “Beschwipste Pfaffenbäuchlein”.

Fold the pancakes left and right and from below like an envelope, coat with flour, eggs and breadcrumbs and fry in hot oil.

To accompany the tipsy pancakes, marinate a green salad with balsamic and olive oil and serve.

A good sip of beer makes the beschwipste Pfaffenbäuchlein a real treat.
