Try this delicious cake recipe:

Boil water and pour over fennel, caraway seeds, orange zest, sugar and milk. Cool until lukewarm.

Stir yeast with salt and white flour. Stir this mixture into the water with the milk and mix. Mix in enough rye flour to keep a fairly tough dough.

Knead dough well on floured work surface until quite elastic ~- about ten min.

Place dough in lightly oiled baking bowl and cover with cling film or a dish hangl. Rise to double size – 2 hours.

Remove dough and shape into round loaves. Place on greased baking sheet, cover and rise repeatedly in about 1 hour.

Meanwhile, bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
