Try this delicious cake recipe:
1. for the cake, bring the juice of one lemon, orange juice, Marsala and honey to a boil. Skin the dates, cut them in half, remove the seeds and put them in the hot broth form. Remove the pan from the stove and leave the dates in it for 1 hour.
For the dampfl melt yeast and sugar in the lukewarm milk. Fold in 50 g flour and leave covered in a warm place for 15 min.
Sift the remaining flour into a suitable bowl. Add eggs, a pinch of salt. Add vanilla pulp, lemon zest and the steam. Knead with the dough hook of the food processor to a smooth dough.
Knead in butter. Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 45 minutes until it has doubled in volume. 4.
4. thinly brush a 27 cm ø tart pan with butter. Pour the dough into the pan and flatten with a rubber spatula. Drain the dates well in a sieve, reserving the cooking juices. Press dates into the dough at regular intervals. Let rise again with lid closed for 20 min.
5. sprinkle the cake with almond flakes and bake in the heated oven on the middle shelf at 160 °C gas 1-2, convection oven 150 °C in 35-40 min. until golden brown.
In the meantime, roughly chop the chocolate for the chocolate sauce. Boil the whipped cream with the sugar and remove from the stove. Add the chocolate and nougat to the hot whipped cream and stir until melted. Allow the sauce to cool.
Remove the cake from the stove, cover with the remaining orange-honey sauce.
