For the gratinated spinach toast, first peel and chop the onion and garlic.
Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Cover a baking tray with baking paper.
Melt the butter in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic in it. Add spinach and sauté briefly. Stir in the flaked almonds, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
In another pan, heat the oil and sauté the mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper.
Toast the bread. Top with ham, spinach, mushrooms and cheese.
Place spinach toast on the baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
