For the fish gratin with spinach and tomatoes, peel and chop the garlic cloves. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Heat the olive oil in a pan and lightly fry the garlic in it. Gradually add the fresh spinach and let it cook. Season with salt and pepper.

Spread the spinach in a baking dish. Slice the tomatoes and spread half of them on the spinach. Season with pepper and salt.

Wash the fish fillets and pat dry thoroughly. Then place the fish fillets on the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with the breadcrumbs. Place the remaining tomato slices on top of the fish fillets, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Spread the cheese over the tomatoes and place the casserole dish in the oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes. Sprinkle the fish gratin with spinach and tomatoes with chopped basil.
