For the salad plate, cut the gherkins into cubes. Wash the peppers, remove the seeds and the stalk and cut them into cubes as well. Wash and halve the cocktail tomatoes.

Wash the lettuce hearts, dab dry and pluck into small pieces. mix all ingredients together and arrange on a large salad plate.

Mix olive oil with balsamic vinegar, season with salt and pepper and drizzle over the salad.
