For the sour cherry jam, wash and pit the sour cherries and put them in a pot. Mix with a little cherry juice or lemon juice, add sugar, bring to the boil and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring constantly.

Blend coarsely with a hand blender. Make a jelly test, fill into sterile jam jars and let cool.
