For the apple-marzipan strudel, roll out the puff pastry, prepare filling, fill with filling, cover with marzipan and close.

Place on a baking tray, turn over so that the closure is at the bottom, brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with sliced almonds. Bake in the oven at 180 °C for about 20-25 minutes with hot air.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar, serve hot. Tastes also delicious with warm vanilla sauce!
