A bean recipe for every taste:

Trim the stem end of the beans, remove the strings, and cut the beans in half if necessary. Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes. Finely chop the basil and pound it in a mortar with the pine nuts, the garlic pressed through, the cheese and enough olive oil to make a smooth mixture. Put beans, spaghetti and potatoes in boiling salted water form and bubble for 8 to 10 min. Drain and collect a small amount of cooking water. Dilute the pesto with the cooking water a little bit and stir it into the bean-potato-spaghetti mixture. Serve on hot plates and season with black pepper.
