Instructions:

For the apple strudel, prepare the strudel dough according to package instructions.

Peel, quarter, core and coarsely chop the apples, roast the breadcrumbs until light brown and wash the raisins and dry them on kitchen paper. Sprinkle three quarters of the strudel dough with breadcrumbs, cover with apples, sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon and raisins. Fold in the edges and roll up loosely. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line baking tray with baking paper and place strudel on it. Melt butter and brush strudel with it.

Bake the apple strudel for 45 minutes and serve sprinkled with powdered sugar.
