For the pasta salad, cook the pasta according to package directions. You can choose any type of pasta, but croissants are best.

After draining the pasta, briefly pour lukewarm water over it and let it cool.

Cut the ham and cheese into thin strips. Remove the seeds from the peppers and cut them into small pieces. Also quarter the tomatoes and onion and cut into small pieces.

Then combine all ingredients in a large salad bowl. Add mayonnaise and sour cream and mix well.

Season the salad with salt, pepper, basil and oregano. The pasta salad tastes great as a side dish at the barbecue or as a party dish.
