A simple but delicious cake recipe:

Put the flour in a large enough bowl, make a well in the center and crumble the yeast into it. Stir with 1 tsp. sugar and 3 tbsp. milk and let rise for 15 minutes with the lid closed.

Add the remaining vanilla sugar, sugar, milk, salt, egg and butter (in flakes). Knead with a dough hook to a smooth dough and let it rise for another 20 minutes.

Bring all the ingredients for the topping to the boil in a saucepan, cool a little and spread on the rolled out dough. Bake the prepared cake for about 20 minutes at 200 °C in a heated oven.

Cool the cake on a cooling rack and cut it horizontally. Thaw the ice cream a little, stir until creamy and spread on the bottom cake layer. Place the top cake layer on top, press a little firmly and bring to the table on the spot.
