For the chive blossom vinegar, wash and dry the chive blossoms and put them in a screw-top jar. Fill the jar with 1/4 l vinegar and seal.

Let steep in a cool, dark place for 1 week, shaking a bit each day. During this time, the vinegar will take on a light purple color. Remove chive flowers after the 7 days (drain through a sieve) and store vinegar tightly closed.
