For the mozzarella sticks with ketchup, first wash the tomatoes, cut out the stalks and dice the flesh. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Sauté together in a pot in hot oil until translucent. Add the tomatoes, honey and vinegar and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Strain through a fine sieve and season with salt and pepper.

For the mozzarella sticks, wash the parsley, shake dry and chop the leaves. Mix with the breadcrumbs. Cut the mozzarella into thick slices, season with salt and pepper and coat in the parsley crumbs, pressing a little. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan and fry the mozzarella in it for 1 minute on each side.

Put on skewers and serve mozzarella sticks with ketchup.
