Mini Gyros Kebabs with Herb Tzatziki

Remove the skin from the garlic and chop or press finely. Remove thyme from the branches. Chop parsley. Chop chives. Chop basil finely. Cut lamb into thin slices.

Mix well salt, olive oil, ground bell pepper, paprika powder, 1 clove of garlic and the freshly removed thyme and marinate the meat pieces for about 20 minutes.

Make long grain rice in salted water.

Remove the meat from the marinade, drain it, put it on wooden skewers and roast it in a frying pan or on the grill.

For the tzatziki, mix well the chives, yogurt, parsley, basil, 2 cloves of garlic and season well with salt and freshly ground pepper.

Drain the softly cooked long grain rice and arrange in an oblong shape on preheated plates. Apply tzatziki in a circle around the long-grain rice using a piping bag or squeeze bottle. Also, drizzle another thin circle with balsamic syrup. Place the meat on top.

Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen ones – they also stand out for their fresh taste!
