Meat Loaf with Spinach Filling

Sort out the spinach, rinse and drain. Remove the peel from the onions and dice them.

Heat the fat in a saucepan and sauté the onions. Add the spinach and cook until the spinach has collapsed. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg (freshly grated). Remove and drain well.

Spread evenly on the slices of liver cheese. Roll up the slices and place in an ovenproof dish.

Mix eggs and milk and season with salt. Pour over the liver cheese.

Remove the skin from the garlic, cut into fine slices. Sprinkle garlic and colored pepper over the rolls.

Bake the meat loaf in the heated kitchen oven (electric oven 220 °C / convection oven 200 °C / gas oven level 3) for approx. 15 minutes.

Garnish with parsley. Serve with a fresh leaf salad.
