Peel and finely chop onions and garlic clove. Peel the ginger and grate finely. Peel the mangoes, cut the flesh from the stone and dice.

Heat the butter in a medium frying pan. Saute onions and garlic until translucent. Add ginger and mangos, sprinkle curry over everything, pour in coconut milk and simmer soup on low heat for ten minutes with lid closed. Then finely grind.

Add the soup, let it bubble up and season with salt, pepper and a little bit of curry if desired.

Immediately before serving, add the shrimps and heat just until hot. Later, serve the soup on the spot.
