Soften the flour in butter and extinguish with cold milk (or water). Make lightly for about 5 min, stirring continuously.

Add cherries, sugar and cinnamon and continue cooking for about 20 min. Keep stirring a second time so that the mixture does not burn. Arrange in a shallow dish.

Toast the white bread cubes in butter until golden brown and add them on top. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve the finished dish warm.
