First peel the onion.

Cut the bacon and onion into small pieces and fry lightly. Dust with flour and make a light roux.

Add lentils with all the lentil water and spices and simmer gently for about 10 minutes.

At the end add the vinegar and serve the lentils with bread dumplings.
