Kernheim is a Dutch cheese specialty with an appetizing yellow-orange color. This is the result of a careful ripening process in specially tempered rooms. The climate corresponds to the conditions of a wet castle cellar. Regular turning of the cheese wheels – by hand, and special care with a brine significantly influence the color, pleasant taste and aroma of kernheim. Kernheim cheese i is suitable not only as a bread topping or to cocktail appetizers, but exceptionally for warm cuisine, especially for dishes au gratin.
