Try this delicious cake recipe:

Make baking mix with dough ingredients. Spread dough on a greased, floured baking sheet.

Place sour cherries on a colander to drain, spread evenly over dough. Whip the egg whites until stiff, fold into the marzipan preparation together with the almond kernels.

Divide the mixture evenly into small heaps on the dough. Place a strip of aluminum foil folded several times in front of the dough.

Dust cooled pastry with powdered sugar.
