A great pasta dish for any occasion:

Place pasta in a saucepan of boiling hot water and make 2-3 min. Drain thoroughly, rinse under cold running water and drain repeatedly in detail.

Heat 1 tbsp of the oil in a preheated wok or skillet until very hot, stirring gently.

Add the noodles and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes. Drain the noodles and set aside for later.

Heat the remaining oil in the wok. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2- 3 min. Add cabbage, bamboo shoots, scallions and beans to the wok form and stir-fry for 1-2 min.

Add soy sauce, beef broth, dry sherry and light brown sugar to the wok form and stir well.

Add the noodles to the mixture in the wok and toss and mix well. Fill into serving bowls, garnish with chopped parsley and bring to table on the spot.

Vary by general availability – try broccoli, green peppers and spinach, respectively.
