Homemade baby food – First complementary food.

For the carrot-kohlrabi polenta, wash and peel the carrot and kohlrabi and cut them into small pieces. Cook in a pot with a little water over low heat until soft. Drain and collect the cooking water.

Boil polenta with 3 tablespoons of milk and 3 tablespoons of water, stirring constantly. Stir until polenta separates from the side of the pot.

Add vegetables, fruit juice and – depending on the desired consistency – some vegetable cooking water and puree with a hand blender. Now stir in butter to the carrot-kohlrabi polenta.
