A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Divide the dough and bake each base separately! Before baking, brush each base with snow of 2 egg whites and 100 g sugar and sprinkle with 50 g almond kernels. Bake at 180 degrees for half an hour. After baking, cut one cake into 12 pieces on the spot. Cool the second cake. Thicken the gooseberries with cornflour and spread on the base. Whip 2 cups of whipped cream, spread on top and cover with the 12 pieces. Preparation time: 20 min with 2 x half an hour baking time!
