Pasta dishes are always a good idea!

1. put the canned tomatoes in a colander and drain, collecting a little of the juice. Then dice the pulp. Rinse the peppers, cut them in half, remove the seeds and cut them into strips. Remove the skin from the onion and chop finely. Rinse the basil, shake dry and chop the leaves. Roughly chop the tuna with a fork. 2.

Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion and bell pepper strips, stirring, for about 4-5 minutes. Add the tomatoes, season with salt, season with pepper and season with peperoncino. Simmer everything on low heat with the lid closed for 15-20 min, stirring occasionally. After about 10 minutes, add the tuna. 3.

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and mix with the sauce while still wet. Serve sprinkled with the chopped basil.
