For the tangerine jam with pomegranate juice, first peel the tangerines and cut them into individual pieces. Using a pointed knife, cut open the skin of each fillet. Scrape out the flesh, collecting the juice.
Cut the pomegranates in half and squeeze out the juice.
Mix sugar and gelling agent.
Place all ingredients in a wide high saucepan and stir through. Bring to a boil over low heat and puree fruit pieces with a blender.
Once boiling, simmer until simmering, about 3 minutes.
Pour tangerine jam with pomegranate juice into jam jars.
