For the lilac scones, clean the fresh lilac flowers and pluck them from the stem by the calyx. Place the two flours in a mixing bowl with the baking powder and the flowers and mix together. Cut the butter into cubes and rub into crumbs with the flour-baking powder mixture.

Mix in the sugar and make a well in the center. Pour in the milk and stir it in. On a floured work surface, knead with your hands until a smooth dough forms. Add more flour or milk as needed until the dough no longer sticks to your hands.

Preheat the oven to 200 °C convection oven. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Divide the dough into 12 pieces and roll into round rolls or shape into triangles. Place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes (test with a stick!).

When the pastries are nicely risen and golden brown, remove from the oven and cool on a wire rack. Stir the powdered sugar with a little lemon juice to make a thick glaze, drizzle over the lilac scones and let set.
