A simple but delicious cake recipe:

(*) For 1 horse baking dish

Make potatoes as jacket potatoes, cool and grate coarsely. Beat the butter with the sugar until creamy, then fold in the eggs.Mix the flour with the baking powder, add in portions to the batter form and stir well. Finally, mix the potatoes with the dough. If the dough is too firm, add a few spoonfuls of milk.

Grease the cake well and dust with the ground almonds. Since the dough rises well, you should spread the dough high on the edges of the mold. This way there will be no bumps and the horse will lie evenly on the cake plate. Bake the cake for 50 to 60 minutes at 175 degrees in a heated oven. Without convection bake 5-10 min longer. Remove from the pan while still warm and cool.

Bach tip: If you like it chocolaty, you can add 50-100 g chocolate sprinkles to the batter. The dough is also enough for 6 small rocking horse baking pans.

Decorating: let the icing and cooking chocolate melt and mix with palmin, spread evenly over the cake horse, dry and decorate with chocolate hearts or plaques.

Decoration tip: – Depending on the choice of chocolate color conjure up all the fur colors on the cake horse, from the black horse to the Indian pony.

– Bridle, saddle, etc. decorate each according to choice with food coloring and other sweet decorative items.

Caution: Mix the food coloring with alcohol instead of water. So they stick better
