Cabbage Rolls in Tomato Sauce

Clean and rinse the cabbage. Cook in salted water until 3 leaves detach gradually from each roulade.

Rinse the tomatoes and cut into small pieces.

Remove the peel from the onions and cut them into cubes. Knead together with minced meat, egg and salt, bread crumbs, paradeis pulp and pepper.

Cut the ribs of the cabbage leaves evenly. Place 2 cabbage leaves on top of each other. Spread minced meat evenly on top. Roll up and tie tightly.

Heat lard. Fry the roulades in it. Extinguish with a little water, add the tomatoes, season with salt and pepper and steam for about 50 minutes.

Cut bacon into cubes and fry until crispy. Cut the rest of the cabbage into strips and sauté. Extinguish with a little water, bring to boil and steam with lid closed for about 20 min.

Take out roulades, refine sauce with crème fraîche. Season with salt and pepper, pour over roulades. Serve the rest of the cabbage separately.

Serve with boiled potatoes.
